Who we’re looking for:
Fastfrate Group is looking for an experienced Operations Supervisor to manage all aspects of our warehouse and transportation operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling inbound loads, understanding financial reports, and supervising a team of 8-10 employees. Forklift certification, and the ability to work weekends as required are mandatory for this role. This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing organization and be a part of a dynamic team.
What you’ll do:
Directly manage a team of 8-10 warehouse and admin staff.
Conduct regular staff meetings and performance evaluations.
Implement training programs for new hires.
Oversee the scheduling of inbound loads to optimize warehouse operations.
Coordinate with carriers, drivers, and other operational departments.
Understand and analyze daily financial reports to maximize operational efficiency.
Maintain a safe working environment and ensure all safety protocols are followed.
Must be forklift certified and ensure proper equipment use by staff.
Act as the first point of contact for operational issues and emergencies.
Utilize out-of-the-box thinking to create solutions for operational challenges.
Must be available to work weekends when required, including vacations and to cover for sick replacements.
Performs other duties as required
Must Haves:
Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse and/or transportation management.
Forklift certification required.
Strong leadership skills with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to work both independently and in a team setting
