Who we’re looking for:
Fastfrate Group is looking for a Driver Recruiter for our Woodbridge, Ontario office that will work closely with the Human Resources team, Hiring Managers and the Safety and Compliance department. You’ll be responsible for identifying, sourcing, and recruiting company drivers and owner operators for local and long distance.

What you’ll do:
Responsible for the recruitment process for drivers and owner operators
Assisting qualified candidates in completing their applications, and ensure all paperwork is submitted for compliance review.
Holding preliminary interviews on the phone or in-person
Advertise open positions on job boards, company website, social media
Use search tools to find suitable candidates
Reporting on recruitment activity
Attending recruitment events and job fairs
Conducting reference and background checks
Effectively utilize available software tools to manage recruitment activity
Build referral networks and candidate pools through networking, social media, and external networking sources.
Support workforce planning for the organization.
Support hiring managers with identifying current and future hiring needs to develop and maintain recruitment strategies.
Update Job descriptions
Maintain and promote DOT compliance during recruitment and hiring process
Knowledge of and ability to follow new industry rules and regulations
Support and participate in strategies to develop, attract, and retain drivers and owner operators.
All other duties as assigned
Must Haves:
Minimum 3 years in driver recruiting experience
Experience in safety & compliance is an asset.
Safety driven with HOS & DOT regulations
Must have solid understanding of the trucking industry
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
